  Date: 20/12/2022                     Day:Tuesday   ROLE OF TEACHERS IN EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT In our college we have conducted an educational seminar under the title of "Role of Teachers in Education for Sustainable Development" for this our Principal invited  Dr.Chithirai Pon Selvan,Head of school - School of Science and English, Cartin University, Dubai.    On that seminar, He explains many contents related to Global Perspectives, Sustainable Development, Resources of world,Energy sources, Green house effect, Material resources like, minerals,sand,water,ocean,air... Sustainable Development means that the needs of the present meets without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

Date: 23/11/2022 Day : wednesday        On 23rd November,2022 we celebrate National Education Day  inviting   Dr.T.XavierBeskiArokiyaraj, Associate Professor in English, Aditanar College of Arts and Science, Tiruchendur as our chief guest of the event.  He spoke about the importance of education. He also shared his experience as an educator with impressive words and real life incidents.  National Education Day of India has been celebrated every year since 2008 on November 11 remembering the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad , the first education minister of Independent India who served from 15 August 1947 to 2 February 1958. The importance of the educational day is shown to us through a power point presentation.  

Date:19/11/2022 Day: Saturday       Thiru.K.Ephram,Ma.,MEd.,Headmaster of  Arulmigu Senthilandavar Government.Boys.Higher.Sec.School,  Thiruchendur, Was invited as the chief guest for this function.         He visited our college and shared his experience in teaching field. He also spoke about the role and duty of the teacher in the society.He also  shared some of his bitter experiences and hiw he turned those in his favour. It was a really an inspiration for us. He also talked in detailed about the reality of the position of teachers and the problems faced by them.After his speech, some of our classmates gave their opinion and feedback about the micro teaching program.  We entered as strangers and in the end become a good companions and developing teachers .
